Nice price! You don't happen to have any deals for the Camera Only (no housing)? Or used DC600s? The reason I ask is I recently flooded my DC600 and as you can imagine it is no longer working. FYI, my housing is fine. The only reason it flooded is b/c I had the camera's wrist strap sticking out of the housing causing it to not seal.

Find out who makes the camera for SeaLife and look at it's equivalent model. When I flooded a DC310 years ago, SeaLife wanted $150 for a replacement. I discovered it was a branded Vivitar model and bought a used Vivitar for $25. It worked fine with the housing, just didn't have the pre-configured underwater settings.

Looks like this might be the way to go. Like you said, I won't have underwater settings, but I don't know how much of a difference that will make. Opinions? BTW, what are the odds that a co-worker in the office next to me would have the same land (non-H2O) version of the camera I need? |

I thought the same thing when I read the thread. I would have SURELY purchased one had I known that. Especially at this price.
