CRAZY ANGLE OR INCREDIBLE GENIUS?When using the standard, flat fin, when the leg is completely extended, there remains an angle of 27 degrees between the heel of the foot and the calf of the leg. This causes 10% of the propulsion that is produced by the kicking motion to be lost. Because the fin is angled below the body, during the kick phase, the body is pushed up and forward, instead of straight ahead. The angle of the Tusa XPert Zoom fins corrects this and gives you unparalled performance.

rumor is that they are coming out with a new fin next year that looks 99% like this one, but has a "new name" and cost a lot more. like over $200 bucks.

way overpriced.

Tusa must not realize that the economy is down and that people aren't going to spend that kind of $$$ on a new fin.


(BTW... I think the recent MAP on the Tusa Splits of $149 is a joke also).

People spend that kind of money on fins all day long... look at the Atomics and the Apollo's... Not to mention the Force Fins... People will pay good money for a fin if it is deemed worth it... I love my Zoom's, and would be interested in the replacement model, if I think it's worth the difference... If it's not, thats a great deal on a replacement set if I ever need em...
