Do you just have one or more than one? I know the answer now- there's just one!

No real problems with them... Refurb is just one that got sent in to the factory for some problem... might have been customer flooded it by not putting the o ring back in place after a battery change... might be a problem on the circuitry... No matter... they gut it, and drop new board in the old case, and sell it as a refurb. We get a good deal on them... when they have them. They only surface once in a while as they like to keep some on hand to give customers a replacement in case of warranty problems... but now and then they will cut a few free, and then we'll sell them.

I have had this same computer and transmitter for several years and am happy with it. The only problem I have had (and heard others do too) is with the battery. You need to use the Sony brand replacement battery or the computer will indicate a low battery when it is first turned on. After several minutes everything will read fine.
