Another thing to do night diving......

while your out, mid water, turn off your light........swirl the water...........enjoy the light show!

Tried that at Tenkiller Lake and couldn't see a thing. I just crack myself up sometimes.

Yep, On a night dive on the GBR the bioluminescence was so strong that the show with the lights off was better than with them on. Incredible phenominon.

It's better to not turn your light off, just cover it.
Bulbs usually blow when being switched on, and that
really sucks during your night dive

That is a cool show. While I was on a liveaboard in the GBR and Coral Sea the bioluminesence was so strong that it was distracting on our night dives.

Once, on a night dive, my buddy and I knent down on a sandy patch, covered our lamps and he demonstrated the bioluminesence by waving his arm. After the dive another diver asked us what religion we followed, because he saw us knelling on the bottom and thought we were praying.
