Westchester County here.
I live and work in Westchester County, but I dive in NJ because I have a buddy with a boat there. We go out from Barnegat bay. We dived the Stolt yesterday, which was my second time on that wreck in the past month. It's a really great dive. It's a 2-hour drive for me, but since my friend has the boat and lives there, and since a third friend comes up an equivalent distance from Newark, DE to dive with us, I've never done any diving in the more local NY/CT area. Besides, the roads are always clear and fast when I start out at 5:30AM on a Sat. or Sun. morning!
I get my rental tanks and some of my gear from Scuba New York on Central Ave. in Yonkers, which is also where I did my classroom and pool work for my OW and AOW c cards. Rick Last edited by Rick155 : 08-13-2007 at 12:55 PM. |
