MD, VA, DC Roll Call

OK, so wanted to see how we are doing for MD, VA, and DC divers as members of this board.

Mebbe I can suggest posting a couple things about yourself and this thread can become a guide for connecting with other members that dive where you dive & possibly are on the lookout for a new buddy or two.

Mebbe a MOD will think this is sticky worthy, if it actually works.

I'll start:

Location: Washington, DC
Usual Haunts: Lake Rawlings, Millbrook, VA Beach
Local Dive Trips/Year: 2-3 times in summer. Hopefully more next year.
Buddy Status: No regular buddy. Looking to increase my "buddy pool".
Dive Style: DORK Diver. Go dive and have fun.
Cert: PADI OW

Westminster, MD here -- Wife and I have mostly just been diving in Hyde's Quarry (in Westminster -- can't beat being 5 minutes from the house). Looking forward to doing the Aquacat liveaboard this winter though!

Dive Trips/Year: 1 in summer to warm water

Usual Haunts: (just moved here ~2 mo.) Chris Green, Walnut Creek, soon to be Fisherville Quarry
Local Dive Trips/Year: ~2 times/month in summer. Considering being swayed into colder waters.
Buddy Status: Found 1 pretty regular buddy, looking for possibly more to go to Lake Rawlings or OBX with.
Dive Style: I'm happy as long as I'm in the water.
Cert: NAUI OW

I am just now getting certified, well once my wife has her classes done, I am in Va Beach and cant wait to get cert'ed and start diving next summer.

Winchester VA...can be found flopping around Mt Storm or Lake Millbrook a couple times a month...there are some more of us in the Southeast sans Florida area too.

From West Virginia - Hang out at Mt Storm and Summersville Lake. Sutton Lake is also a possibility. Take as many dive vacations as possible. I prefer warm water.
