We were just at one... if it's not 190' in spots, it's very close!

Yeah, I was a bit surprised when he approached me (of all people) this weekend and asked if he should be good to about 210FFW with his dual 109's. I was a bit surprised by this, to say the least.

Navy, the map claims that Captain John's is 210' at the deepest section.

And Larry, I want to do some of those profiles!!

<in best Star Trek bones voice> Dammit Al...it's only got 190 cu ft! I'm not magician, I just can't go any deeper with a 190!!!! Don't you think I KNOW it's 210'? Just Where am I supposed to get this mythical 210 cu ft tank?

I am really sorry I missed the DDCN July 4th get together. It looks like it would have been well worth the eight hour drive to get some of the stuff you guys were smoking. And all I did Sunday was look for the paddlefish at Haigh quarry (again)

Am I just missing some humor here or is some one who claims to be an experienced diver really asking a bunch of basic questions that imply a desire to dive way beyond their apparent training and skill levels, the kind of questions that get you into the newpapers in a real ugly way?

Jack

Of course, what really got me going was when NavyHMC and I were talking, and DW began asking the reason that you'd need an octo AND a second second stage. I told him these were the types of questions that he should be asking John or Larry, but he didn't really want to take that as an answer.I don't know, I think the cold water may have vapor locked him...

I thought it was how much weight you're supposed to wear in order to descend properly. It's tough with an 80, but I have to wear two weightbelts with my 104...
