Okay- I see what's different at 40ft my chart shows the NDL as 130 minutes not 200. So, 130-61= 69 the adjusted NDL.

download the computerized table tutor off our site, and do a gillion of those types of problems with the answers drawn out for you and explained... in either the navy or ssi tables... (or padi or nitrox or... or...)

Table Tutor reviews and discounts, ScubaToys

(Note: doesn't work on 64 bit operating systems... darn....)

US Navy Dive tables 3 & 4

the noaa tables are the same and so are my NASDS tables from the late 80's when I started diving.


the table tutor program larry mentions works great, I downloaded it about a week ago or so to play around with, it's awsome.

Yup. SSI charts are more conservative. Using my chart (SSI), my calculations were correct.

SSI charts are based on Navy Charts. I thought they WERE the same as the Navy charts.

Nothing is based on navy charts anymore.....too many lawsuit happy people in the USA
