Navy Dive Tables/SSI Review Question

Okay. I want to see if I am understanding this correctly so could someone be kind enough to answer these questions using the navy dive tables so I can compare my answer (to the majority).

You go on a dive at 51 feet for 31 minutes. What is your designation group letter?

Assuming you complete a one hour surface interval- what is your new designation group interval?

Okay next part:

Using the new group designation you want to make a 2nd dive to 40 feet.

What is your no-decompression time limit?

What is your residual time?

well, your carrying 61 minutes of time with you(RNT) to your next dive, so to keep from going over the 200 minutes you only have 139 minutes of actual dive time allowed....

Where did the 200 minutes come from?

I have the 61 residual time. It shows 69 as the adjusted NDL. I have the academic portion tomorrow.

yes, always ask, tables are important and you need to understand them.

If you look at your 40ft row on your table you see the max NDL time is 200 minutes.....but you said this is your 2nd dive and you have 61 minutes of RNT

you have to treat this 2nd dive like you have already been diving for 61 minutes which only leaves you 139 minutes
