Is this what your looking for?

    Mares Ruby

The Ruby is a top-of-the-line all metal regulator and incorporates an actual ruby gemstone in the high pressure valve. This ruby valve is impervious to the elements that cause other valves to wear. It exceeds U.S. Navy Standards and was named a "Tester's Choice" by Rodale's Scuba Diving Magazine in 1998 and 1999. The Ruby is the perfect regulator for the diver who demands the best performance in the most demanding diving conditions. The Ruby is one of the most rugged and reliable regulators available today. A Mares regulator bag is included for proper storage and carrying.

    MR 22 1st Stage:
    • Ruby gemstone poppet

The ruby was the first spherical seat by mares, but now they just do it with stainless steel instead... works just as good and is a lot cheaper to make... and doesn't crack like the ruby could..

As far as how to say it.. the italians like to roll their R's to show off... so if you ask them, it sounds like...

    Marrrrrrrrr iiiissssss

Like marring the table top with a knife... Marrrrrr and a drawn out "is".
