Mares MR 12 Proton Reg

I am thinking about purchasing the Mares MR 12 Proton Regulator as my first regulator. I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences good or bad with this product and if they would let me know.
Thanks,
Trey

Trey...... I have had one in service for over 4 years and love it. It at one time was my primary reg. but now serves as a deco bottle reg.. They are very durable and well designed....work horses. You can not go wrong with the purchase IMHO.

I use a rebel for my main reg and octo, it's a great regulator set up (same MR12 first stage). Go for it!

My girlfriend has tha setup and it works great at any recreational depth. She's used it to great satisfaction up to 125 feet without a problem. Trying hers is what sold me on buying my Mares V16 Proton.

Great regs in my oppinion!
