Regulator Recommendation for Casual Diver

It has been a while since I last SCUBA dived, but I am looking to get back into the hobby. I am looking to purchase a new regulator. I would prefer one that is balanced and has DVT. I will be a casual diver so I would like something that is not too advanced. Does anyone recommend any regulator?

I might be looking into a new BC as well. Any recommendations there?

Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks.

P.S. I apoligize to those who notice this as a double posting. I accidently posted this in the wrong forum. I wanted this posted in the most suitable forum.
I use an Oceanic set-up, SP5 1st, Alpha 8 Sport 2nd, and an Alpha 8 Octo. You can get it all right here at ScubaToys and it won't break the bank. I also have the Oceanic VEO 250 computer.

The SP-5 first stage is a non balanced piston reg. (Alpha Sport)

The PX-3 first stage is a balanced piston reg. (Alpha)

I bought Mares Abyss 22 and Brigade Oct from ST. I get dry mouth and gets difficult to breath but Abyss' all metal construction prevent the dry mouth. It works pretty good for me.

I have a Aqualung Titan. Its balanced in the first stage. I realy like it. I don't know about it being DVT. I think that DVT Is an Oceanic thing.

How does that work? The metal construction preventing dry mouth that is... I have experienced dry mouth with a rented MR12 Rebel on my last few dives, and with a Scubapro setup (don't know the details of that kit) on a previous occasion. Just put it down to dry air...
