Z2 or B2?
If I were going to buy an Atomic reg, is there any reason to pay more for a B2 or ST1 over a Z2, other than the swivel? And since I may want to get a miflex hose, I'm not sure that is an advantage anyway. It looks like the extended T that I would like fits any of them.
As far as I can tell, the difference is a brass vs. titanium demand valve body. Does this really matter? Do they breathe differently? I can't try them out before deciding. By the way, I don't need anything for cold water, if that matters. Thanks for any help. |

If you're going to loose the swivel hose anyway, I would go with the Z2. They will breathe the same.
The B2 has a swivel on the hose _and_ a swivel on the 1st stage that is missing on the regular Z2. IIRC, it's possible to get a Z2 with the 1st stage swivel. |

The ST1 is neat, but heavy. I'd rather go for the M1. The T2, however... I wouldn't want that one. Overpriced for that you get, and there are issues with Titanium and Nitrox... even if they say it's technically ok for recreational mixes. I'd go M1 if you want high end... and still save money over the T2. |
