I have one. I like it. I used to use it on my left post with my doubles. I would have to turn it all the way down to keep it from free flowing on occasion.

I recently decided to buy another Dive Rite RG 2500 so I would have a matched set on my doubles.

So I put a yoke on it and let my wife use it on vacation this year. She didn't like it. She is paranoid of free-flows and the Mk25/S600 can deliver some serious air - it didn't make her feel comfortable. So I guess I will put a DIN back on it and use it as a deco reg. Or maybe I will use it for my vacation reg and let her use my yoke Mk18/G250.

It's one of the best regs you can get. I really really love mine. This, and Apeks regs, are the ones used by more technical divers than any others out there, based on what I've read.

Note: If you dive in extremely cold water (below 42 degrees), you may want to consider the MK17 instead of the MK25.

I've been happy with the reg, but it sure isn't cheap!

from what i've read, i'd choose an mk17 (any 2nd of your choice) just for the fact that it's ready with environmental seal. and as far as price goes you can also pick up a Apeks or Atomic in the same range of performance and price.

mk25 s600 you cant go wrong with it unless you do really cold water diving below 40 degrees. If you do then a mark 17 should be great but does not have the swiveling turret.
