Well, after having a sore jaw all weekend from Friday's adventures at CSSP, I had a couple incidences to where it almost got yanked out of my mouth because of the way I was turning in the SS Minnow, I went out to ST today and had a miflex put on both inflator and primary reg.....I'm trying a 40 incher like Rick, I like the idea of having the extra room. The Miflex site says you can tie this hose in a knot and still have full flow air, not going to try that but they sure are more nimble than the standard hoses....looking forward to trying them this weekend! Also went ahead and got a Seacure for my regulator......done formed it and everything and this promises to be the best non-jaw hurting dive coming up!!

Scuba Toys doesn't seem to have the 26" reg hose. Is it out of stock? I had to order elsewhere online.

So If I get a mi-flex hose for my B2, I'll need to get the spacer nut.

Mystery solved. Now to put it back together.

Hope you can help!!!

So I got the 5' Miflex and spacer nut from ST. I undid the attachment of my comfort swivel hose to the ST1 regulator.

However, I can seem to get that adapter removed with a 11/16 wrench. How much torque did you use? Maybe my wrench is too thin. I am afraid to use an adjustable wrench.

The first photo is the Atomic hose removed from the ST1 reg. The spacer nut that was provided threads onto the reg but I guess it would destroy the O ring since there is no space for the O ring to be seated. Of course the screw at the end of the Miflex also thredas onto the reg but won't go all the way in. So, as I just mentioned I thought I could first thread the spacer nut and then screw in the Miflex.

What am I doing wrong? Hope someone can help!

That's the one I use with the 40" hose on my single-tank rig. I bought it from zeagle-express for $31.95 - I think the shipping was free because I called them and asked that they just mail it in first class in an envelope. I'm sure scubatoy's could supply them too.

Routes clean for me:

Yup floater. The 90 degree swivel fits much nicer than my Atomic.

Did you get it done already? If not, try to unscrew the part I've circled in read, and see if it fits the miflex hose.

OK, I figured it out. I didn't need to remove that part.

All I had to do was remove the O ring and then thread the spacer nut and then the Miflex hose.

In fact I didn't need to order the spacer nut from ST since there was one on the Ti2. No matter, it was worth the extra $8. I replaced the regular hose on the Ti2 with the comfort swivel hose I just removed from the ST1.
