Atomics -- hands down!!
300+ foot and not a single issue yet.
I have 4 m1's with the cave ring addition + larger vent ports added.

Going to be getting 2 more for the wife's set of double HP80's.
As far as I am concerned, best breathing reg out there, hands-down!..

What does Ti have to do with cold water?

I personally avoid regs made out of that stuff... it's fancy and light weight, but it also reacts with high concentrations of O2, so I consider it to be of limited suitability for nitrox mixes >EAN40. I think you'd tox before getting the oxygen partial pressure high enough for combustion, and high heat is required for most of the other potential problems I know of, but despite what is probably a laughably small chance of anything going wrong because of using a titanium alloy for scuba, something in my brain always yells "Titanium in pressurized oxygen is BAD!" when I think about it.

Dive Rite Hurricane

I noticed that the Dive Rite Hurricane took a $200 price drop.

If it is on closeout due to being discontinued - no longer manufactured, I wonder how long the parts will be available for maintenance?

The new Poseidon second stage on Dive Rite's new model looks pretty nice.

I doubt its being discontinued. They just introduced in a year or two ago. Also, where did you see it for $200 less? ST has it for $399 which is what we paid for one a year ago.

I just bought an Atomic ST1 and it is AWESOME!!!! Not only is it a clean looking regulator, it will breathe dry in every position imaginable. The only downside to it is the price tag!! *ouch*

Clearly the most drooled over regulator would be a Phoenix converted Voit 50 Fathom.
