1st Stage Regulator Hose Reconfigure

Just wondering how difficult it is to reconfigure hoses off the 1st stage.

The used setup i have has the octo comming off the left and i wanted to move it back to the right...

is this something i can do on my own?

I don't think it would be a difficult undertaking. The only thing I am unsure of is whether or not you need some sort of lube on the o ring of the second stage and the port plug.

You don't *have to have* lube since this isn't a seal that's going to be moving around. A little spit around the seal works great. Be sure there's no dirt/debris before you reattatch, etc.

DONT over tighten the hose.

Yes you can do it yourself.

Thank you every one.. I moved me hoses around just now and they seem to be in a more "standardized" (to padi open water) manor. Ill dive them in the pool tomorrow to test out my seals.. I didnt lube them, as i dont have lube... well not for scuba o-rings anyway..
