Octo Apeks XTX40 vs XTX50

With the advice of many people on this board, I have just recently purchased an Apeks XTX 200 Status regulator. I am now looking into getting my alternate air source as well. I've heard a lot about the Apeks XTX40 and XTX50 octos, and I was wondering if any of you knew the difference between the two. Aqualung's website has almost no information about their octos. I looked around a bit, and I found one website stating that XTX50 is specifically made for colder waters, however, the guy who I bought the XTX 200 regulator from says that the only difference is the adjustment tuner that is on the XTX 50 and he says it's not worth the extra 20 bucks. If anyone can give me any opinions on this matter, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if anyone has any other Octo suggestions, please feel free to share your ideas. Thank you all in advance.

The 50 does indeed have the cracking pressure adjustment knob. In my opinion it is worth the extra cash.

I agree. Get the XTX50. The inhalation adjustment knob is worth it. It's really nice to be able to tune/de-tune the second stage with a quick turn of the knob.

I have the XTX50 and agree, it's the way to go.
