Question Good octo match for Mares V16 Proton Metal

I recently purchased a used Mares V16 Proton Metal regulator from ST for my son and I just realized that I didn't get him an octo. What do you guys think would be a good match for that reg? We mostly dive cold (Monterey, CA).

Thanks!

the proton octo (my choice on the same reg)
or the brigade would both be good.

Thanks! I ordered him the proton. He's not really fond of the slimline octos. Now we all have everything! (Until I see something new and cool that I just have to have.)

Good choice! That's what I have on my V16 and it breathes almost as easily as my Proton XL 1st 2nd stage! The protons are great 2nds...

I have a Mares all metal "She Dives" regulator and got the Proton octo and love it! You made a good choice.
