Tusa RS-130

I am looking at getting a Tusa RS-130. Does anyone here have one. What do you think about it. What do you like and what do you not like.

I don't have one, I dive a Zeagle Envoy Deluxe. Larry, who has about a million more times experience than me has said that for the price point that regulator can't be beat. He also stated in another thread that they have sold a lot of them and have never had a complaint about the performance.
Others with direct experience can chime in, but with my dealings with Larry, or anybody at ST, they won't stear you wrong. It's a situation where if he say's it's good you can pretty much bank on it.

Scuba Diving magazine tested them, just go under gear, regulators, and look for "mother of all reg reviews".. I would link it, but I can't get it to work for some reason?!?

My wife bought me one for my birthday 2 years ago . Then she took her cert classes with the aqualung I got for her. She hated the Aqualung and "borrowed" the 130 she bought for me. I have never gotten it back.

I did get a chance to use "her" rs-130 this year when my trusty Oceanic delta 3 blew a seal (no seal sex jokes please) and WOW is all I can say. On the way home from vacation (July) I stopped at my LDS (ST) and bought myself one. I really wanted a Oceanic Delta 4 with DVT but couldn't bring myself to shell out the extra bucks for a reg that didn't breath any easier than the RS-130. Now I have to get "my" RS-130 out and get it wet, it is still in it's new scubatoys reg bag awaiting action.

Would of loved to have the rs-240 with it's small 1st stage (I carry my tank high and hit my head on the 1st quite often when looking up) but it wasn't on sale at the time.

I LOVE my RS130. I've used it in Bonaire (80F) and here in New England (50F). It's always worked awesome. I can't believe what a great deal it is. I also like the way the first stage is set up. Rather than all the ports being in the same line, the HP and LP ports are in two different rows around the perimeter of the first stage. The mouthpiece is also one of the more comfortable I've used. (Though I'm still thinking about picking up one of those gel-pack mouthpieces that I picked up for the Mrs.)

I like the RS-460 for the cold water. Hit mid 40's sometimes at depth.

I bought one for my 19 y/o son. He has had it to about 90 ft, on both air and nitrox, with NO problems. He loves it! He really liked the ability to adjust the flow, just like on my Aeris Atmos Pro reg. I had looked at doing the Delta 4, and giving him my Atmos Pro, but I just could not bite that bullet.

I just had ST make me a package for my 17 year old son, and I had them add a RS-130 to it because of all of the positive comments that I have read about it on here and from the ST sales staff as well. I had them build him a package with the RS-130, Riptide zone BCD, Aeris analog 2 gauge console and the TUSA Duo-Air IR-3 Reg/inflator. I think it will suit him well.
