Anyone using the Aeris ION

I just bought the pro model (one step and a hundred dollars down) now I'm wondering if I should have bought the ION. Anyone used one and how is it?

Thanks!

I have an ION, but bought it late in the season and I have only dove it once. It breathed great, and I will admit that the swivel did prevent the jaw fatigue that I normally get. I don't think you can get the swivel anymore (copyright problems with another manufacturer). You didn't make a bad choice with the Pro, I have used one before and thought it was a great reg also.

I dove the EOS (which I believe is the same as the ION) and it was quite comfortable and tiny! This one had the swivel and all the new ones I've seen have the swivel too.

The only thing I didn't like (This could have been unique to this unit) was that it made a squeaking sound when I was breathing. Adjusting the inhalation effort knob didn't get rid of the sound or made any difference in regards to the sound.

I should have tried a different unit, but I just thought of that now that I was posting this.
