They are no good, no good at all. Send it to me so you don't have to be bothered with it.

A man has to do what a broke man has to do.

James,

I recommend you keep it and use it. Top quality reg.

Hi all

And glad to hear I bought something good. Actually I bought this off ebay, and in the auction it was for a ATX200 and then after I won and paid for it he told me his friend who he was selling for told him it was a 100. But does look like in new condition and was recently serviced he told me. I have been diving some older Poseidon Cyklon regulators and only complaints I had with them was in shallow water, wet breathing and occasionally stuttering.

I am wondering can I put any second stage on this for an Octopus, or is the IP a bit higher then normal? I believe I remember reading that is was. The Cyklons I think have the highest IPs of anything on the market but since I used a Cyklon Octopus it did not really matter. I have an older model Tusa Octopus and an even older Tekna 2100BX second stage coming soon and was wondering how these would do as an Octopus.

Also the serial number on my ATX100 is 511 2034 just wondering if the age of this regulator can be told by this.

Thanks,

James

I wouldn't care who told me that it had been serviced, I'd still ship it to ST's and have them service it again. I'm not going to risk it. My life is too important right now.

You should be able to strap and second stage to it. (Remember, I'm a newbie, although, I'd try it. ;P)

Not sure if Apeks website would give you any information. Maybe e-mail them with it and see if it's hot or not.

Michael

I have a ATX 50 and love it. Have your new reg serviced, throw on your favorite second stage and enjoy.
