Mares Abyss

I have the new Abyss reg and have only used it for a 5-6 dives. Just curious as to anyone else using the Abyss and how you like it? Any problems so far? From my limited experience with the reg I have no complaints and think it breathes great!

Great regulator!I'm happy with it, just the size of it and the weight is some time a little issue

i've seen and held the abyss many times, and never though it to be too big or anything like that... it's actually pretty small and compact IMO... i would like to own one sometime within the next year or so.

I use to have an Mares Mr22 Abyss. I would have to be one of the best regs that I have ever had. Breathes great, robust, good service periods.

Work Of Breathing

Hi all,

Recently I was reading an article on regs and the WOB was mentioned - I THINK it was WOB (work of breathing).

Does anyone know of a site that lists the WOB rating for regulators?

Thanks

I been diving a Abyss for years. Never had a problem with it. Berths the same at 10' or 110' upside down or right side up.
