Dive Rite Service manuals?

I am looking at changing regulators and want to see the Dive Rite service manuals for the 3500 (Hurricane) and the 3000. Dive Rite Express does not seem to have them and i cannot find them on the Dive Rite site.

Any ideas?

The 3500 is made by Beauchat. See if you can get a Beauchat regs service manual and that should help you.I found one for Beauchat regs, but it's in french (as that's where they are made).http://www.deepsouthdivers.org/tb.pdf . supposedly its the same at the Beuchat VS200 , but slightly different specs on the internals. (so supposedly the Beuchat VS200 service kit will not work on the 3500). (Note: I don't work on them nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so can't be 100% sure).Dive Rite has a habbit of taking an OEM regulator and then beefing it up a little with similar but beefier internal parts. Prob the case here also. Therefore the OEM regulator rebuild kits don't always work in the ones with the DR logo on them.

I'd contact ST, Dive Rite Express, Cave Excursions or Dive Rite themselves. One of them should be able to get you the info you want. Actually, in another couple years, I'll need one since my wife got the Hurricane.

The 3000 is the 2500 first stage with an different 2nd stage. (as told to me by Lamar Hires himself). The 2500 service manual should be available and if you can't find it, PM me and I'll e-mail a copy

Larry linked to this page once, I don't know where it links from on the main ST website but I bookmarked it. Check the Dive Rite manuals, you might find what you need:

Owners and Service Manuals:
Scuba diving Manuals - Service Manuals - Regulator, Computer, Owners Manuals

Dive Rite Manuals:
DiveRite Scuba diving Manuals - DiveRite Service Manuals

Hope that helps....
