Looking to buy my first regulator and octo?

There are way to many to choose from. I don't like buying things over and over again. Would like to make a purchase that would last. Please advise? I have heard good things about the zeagle envoy....

Zeagle is very good stuff. The envoy got some top ratings in all the tests. Now I like adjustments, so I'd lean toward the envoy deluxe to get the adjustment - but either would serve you well.

Larry, which would you suggest between the Envoy Deluxe and an Abyss 22?

My SO and I just got Zeagle reg set ups that as of right now remain dry till we can hit the pool. We went with the DSV and envoy octo. Mostly the reason for the DSV was to get the environmental seal...if you are diving in warm water its probably not needed.

I dive Zeagle Flathead VIs on double and single tanks and love them a whole lot. They are "the stuff"!

well what are you looking at price wise are you in a crunch for cash. The Tusa RS-130 is a great reg it is a balanced 2nd stage and you can get it for a great price it is I believe 179 on ST. The reg I believe was designed by scuba pro, but is manufatured and sold by Tusa, so you get a fantastic reg for a great price all because of having the T on the front of it.

Where did you hear that this reg was developed by Scubapro? As far as I know, Scubapro has no relationship with Tusa and my LDS reports that Tusas can be hard to service, as I remember it.

I think it is posted here Tusa=ScubaPro? - ScubaBoard to clear things up larry did say something about it in this thread he said that the tusa rs 130 was not but they do manufature several regs thatwere designed by scubapro. But never the less I have the reg and think it is great, also to add it is adjustable too.
