Scubapro S555 - List Price\MSRP?

I'm trying to find the Scubapro's list price / MSRP for these things:

1. the MK25 1st stage alone, and
2. the S555 2nd stage alone, and
3. both of them together

This is the type of equipment I like to buy from my LDS. I actually did buy the S555 from my LDS without the MK25. I'm getting the sense that I got bamboozled...really bad. I'm not looking for ST or LP discount web pricing. I'm looking for something official from scubapro if possible. I just can't find it.

If anyone can provide that I'd be really appreciative.

Since Scubapro does not authorize regulator sales over the internet, then you will not find that information on the net. The only place to find it is to call a SP dealer and ask.

Or to get others to call and ask for you. I would help you, but the price I would get from my LDS is the price for me, not the price for you. I get discounts based upon taking classes, buying other things, doing my service there and so forth.

Leisurepro is pretty good about having accurate list prices on their site...

according to their page, the 1st/2nd stage combo is $595 list

they don't have individual prices listed though.....

Liesure Pro is NOT an authorized dealer. Don't ask LP, ask Scubapro. Scubapro DOES NOT AUTHORIZE mail order sales or even advertising of their prices.

As for how good LP is, they tried to rip me off years ago. And I have the reciepts to prove it. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw the store. They still lie about it too.

Oh my god stop crying about it...

Leisurepro has been extremely accurate with all of the rest of their list pricing on things... I'm sorry they did not do right for you, but wow, what a response... I have only ever bought one thing from them, solely because no one else had it in stock...

And for the record, that's the reason I won't buy scubapro equipment... this is the internet age, deal with it... don't get me wrong, I like their products, I just don't like their policies (and thats the reason Scubatoys stopped carrying their stuff as well)

edit: at one point in time, car audio manufacturers tried to do this same thing - only selling through their retail locations... I can't think of one car audio manufacturer that still does that - they all now have authorized online outlets... evidently business wasn't as good as they wanted in the internet age and they grew up... That whole thing really irks me - it eliminates competition... competition is a good thing...

Individual pricing - yeah, there's the rub. I've been loyal to that dive shop for 3 years. Other than my computer, I purchased all of my gear there - including a customized DUI dry suit. I've literally spent thousands there. They've been reasonable with me in the past. Which is why I didn't do much pre-purchase price checking. Which is how I ended up in this boat...

Looks like $595 for the combo. Thanks - it think thats about the best I'll be able to find AFA documenting MSRP.

Thanks

Not crying about it, but passing on the practices of a predatory seller to everyone. I see evidence of them doing the same thing thru an after the sale board that I watch. YOU might have had a good deal with them, but they are GREY market. They always have been. That's why all warrenties are thru them and not thru the manufacturer.

They lied to me on the phone, not once, but multiple times. They charged me for items never delivered. Then they tried to lie that it never happened. They are scum, and I am warning everyone away from them.

And just for the record, not all internet sellers are bad, just them. I have dealt with several internet diver suppliers over the years, including ST. I have never run into anyone that dishonest anywhere else.

Ok..getting off topic here. But, would you post a link to this site? I had a fine experience with them when I purchased my computer. But, I'd like to see what other people are experiencing.

I'd stay away from LP also for Scubapro gear. A friend of mine has a reg that he can't get serviced because the LDS won't take equipment in for repair that wasn't purchased from an authorized dealer. Unless you're an equipment repair specialist, I wouldn't take the chance.
