This was my second time shooting video with the Reefmaster Mini. I was surprized how little memory it uses, about 6 meg every 30 seconds. So I had plenty of room to shoot more, and I wish I had. The wreck is in very good shape and lots of life around it. There were 3 eagle rays floating next to it, which i messed up shooting Oh well, maybe next time.

I just bought one of these cameras. I've been pretty impressed so far by the pictures it takes, but this is the first i've seen of the video. It seems like it's pretty decent video from what I see here. I look forward to getting back in the water and taking some of my own. I'm also pretty impressed with the amount of memory it uses. The only thing I don't like about the camera is that it is limited to 1GB of memory. I also got the strobe and the wide angle lens and the whole setup is pretty nice so far!

Which strobe did you get? That is the next thing I am going to invest in. I agree that 1 gb is a little low, wish I could put my 4gb card in there. Then there would be no worries about space.

I do bring multiple cards with me and swap out on the surface, but that is the only fault I have found with this camera.

It makes a pretty big difference when compared to the internal flash. Plus it makes me look all professional like I know what the heck I'm doing! haha

Oh, I wanted to add, I had to use the flash diffuser that came with the Reefmaster Mini, as my strobe didn't come with one. And the only downfall of the external strobe is that it takes a good 10 seconds to charge up between pictures before its ready to take another, so you can't take pictures back to back to back. There is a little waiting involved before being able to shoot again. Battery life has proven to be pretty good too.

That is the other one I posted. I am going to use it to shoot some of the boat bottoms before I clean them, and again after to show what was done.

Great video! I have a Mini 320, and wrote to Tech Support about the 1 GB max card size. They told me that I could use a 2 GB, that the book mentions 1 GB as being the max size because that was the max size available when they designed the camera. If you want a copy of the email Tech Support sent to me, let me know.

Cool, great info! I think I will try one of the 4 meg cards I have and see if that works. I will post my results here.
