i don't know if this has been passed around yet, but this is a good lesson for us all:

Scuba Diving Videos Why you don't feed eels... Scuba Videos

Ouch...

There is a tamed Eel at the Sea Emperor(Aqua Zoo) in Boca Raton that people used to feed. Every time you go down there it swims up and gets right in you're face until it realizes you have no food, then it goes back into a hole. That thing is cool.

I hate it when a Green Moray bites off your thumb.

I know this is way off topic, but I wish I had video of this...

I've a friend who is a news photog. He responded to an incident at a commercial pool. A gentleman, quite by "accident" found a certain part of his anatomy lodged in one of the vacuum suction lines in the wall of the pool. 911 responded. The appendage had apparently swelled up and even with the pump off, he could not remove it.
Fire Rescue decided it best to lower the water in the pool and jack hammer a portion of the wall and pool deck and take the victim and the attached concrete to a hospital. All the while my buddy continued to snap pictures.
As the victim was wheeled away with about a cubic foot of concrete on his groin he shouted at the photographer " You better not take anymore pictures!" To which my friend replied, "What are you going to do about it?"

Sorry for the hijack.
