What dive site were those Dolphins seen?

we saw dolphins at 3 different sites... Hoover's Towers, Turtle Pinnacles, and Naia (the opening to the harbor). At all of these the dolphins came through more than once or stayed and played for awhile. I didn't get them on video 2 of the times, of course.

You saw them at all three locations diving?....The reason I have asked I have been to Kona around 10 times... maybe 100 dives and only seen Dolphins on the surface. When did you go?

Nov 2006. We heard them on almost every dive but only had them show up underwater on the 3 dives.

We also had a bottlenose show up next to the boat when we were moored but not ready to get in yet. It left before we hit the water.

So we had great dolphin encounters underwater but got zero on mantas! All week the dive ops were reporting no mantas each night (no plankton = no mantas). The day we were getting on the place we heard that they had finally had 4 the night before. Too late for us but at least we had the dolphin shows.

I've done the Manta dive about 20 times and been skunked only twice...Last year we had ten of them came in...Wow what a great dive. I was really surprised to see you had Dolphins on your dive I have never been that lucky, as you know not much in the water there...see more fish on Sushi tables...LOL...but I go for that Manta dive in my top five dives.
