A friend of mine bought the Wii Diving Game. I haven't seen it yet, is it any good? It seems like it would be similar to this.

Sad thing is I got aboard the Duane in 1984 when she was still above the surface. She was a proud but tired ole gal.

Now she's a video game. Who'd a thunk!

When I was down in the Keys a few months ago I met a retired guy who served on the Duane. Great guy and great to talk to before we dove her. Nothing like an old crew member who has also dove her to tell you where there a wall instead of a door and such.

Yep, when you live aboard a ship you learn how to make egress by feel just in case. I'm sure he would make a great guide during a deep penetration dive.

It took quite some time to build the virtual dive site of the USCGC Duane; we had to study a lot of deck plans and then make the accurate 3D model.
No penetration allowed so far. We will work on this later when we have more info on the various entry/exit holes.
