Yes - have one in my pocket.

I have found that you get a whole array of amazing colours when flashing a light at a coral head - even in daylight. You tend to miss those if you don't have one!

Also - you never know when cool / interesting dive throughs may be available - and having a light helps to figure out what's ahead, etc., etc.

Finally - once you are on the surface - it could be used as a beacon device to attract attention if necessary.

Yes. Clip it to a D ring and forget about it. If I need it it's there, if not, no harm done.

You betcha! With the viz and light penetration here in the NE its like the difference between color and BW TV.

Yes. I drop a small one in a pocket or clip it to the BCD. It's like having a pocket knife in the woods, small and easy to forget it's there - but handy when you need it.

I have one strapped to my speargun. It's good for looking in dark areas around rocks.
