WaScubaDude has a pretty good list goin over here:

Dive Related Books

Im not sure if "No Safe Harbors" is on it. You might want to add it. As for a reccomendation, try:

"The Last Dive"

“Shadow Divers”

“Shadow Divers Exposed”

Thanks I read all three. They were all great books. Shadow Divers Exposed was a little boring but I still finished it. I haven't read any other of Gary Gentel books so maybe I'll try some of those. Thanks again

well, maybe not entirely to do with diving, but the Dirk Pitt novels from Clive Cussler seem to bring about one's sense of adventure. they do tend to get wet in about every book so technically they fit in this category.

read 'em all, start with the first!

Tom Clancy's "Without Remorse". It is part of the Jack Ryan Series (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Executive Orders, etc.). It has a brief reference to diving, So that puts it over the top :-)

Fav books is a hard subject for me since I don't usually read fiction. Last book I read was called "Me Myself and Bob" it was Phil Vischer's (creator of VeggieTales) autobiography.

My favourite book is Shallow Divers

My second favourite book is Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. Heck of a book!

Hmmm tough...non-fiction non diver is How to win friends and influence people. Diving related is Shadow Diver. Fiction, probably It by King.
