Has anyone ever purchased a Body Glove wetsuit?

I'm thinking of bidding on one on ebay, but I'm wondering if they are any good, since I never see that brand for sale in any of the local dive shops. Anyone out there have any experience with this brand?

I think they are good for surfing. Most people say that their neoprene will compress quickly, the permanent type....like, every suit compresses at depth somewhat, but also over time they don't "bounce back" as more. And most people seem to say these suits stay permantently compressed sooner.

Kala and I both have a 3mil shorty, used for pool dives, and sailing not much else. Unless you can get it REAL cheap I would pass. Not the best quality suit, and I have seen them now show up in places like Costco etc.

For what it's worth... my fiance bought one in New Jersey a few years back and we have dove with it many times. No problems and it has kept her nice and warm every time. For the amount of money we spent, it has made a great 2/3 mil wetsuit!

I use a Quicksilver 3/2 full Hyperstrech. The reason I got it was that it cost me less than a daily rental and it was brand new. I have put 8 dives on it so far and it works for me. Again it was $9, so you can't beat that!

I have a full suit 3/2 fullsuit Body Glove. No complaints for tropical diving.
