Does anyone want to help sponsor a dive show I'm working on producing? The show is called "Adventures in Underwater Florida" in the show I'll be traveling around the state of Florida profiling different dive sites.

In each episode I'll record video giving a dive briefing for the site we're visiting, then I'll video the entire dive site so you guys know what to expect if you ever decide to visit the same site. After the dive is over I'll give a post dive briefing to discuss what we saw and our impression of the site.

So far I've got SSI (Scuba Schools Intl) and Coral Reef Scuba sponsoring things like training, equipment service and tank fills. But I still need people to help with things like gas, upgraded video equipment, charter boat fees, large amounts internet storage space. All of the episodes will be edited and posted on my site www.underwaterfla.com for everyone to view. As a matter of fact I’ve already posted my first episode on the site.

Up to this point I've been producing the show out of my own pocket, I've been paying for the gas, using my own truck and boat. I'm currently using my HP Digital Camera with an underwater housing to capture the video. As my sponsorship grows the show will grow. Currently, I'm taking a month or two off to have my regs serviced and to spend time with my new daughter who's due the week after next. I plan to be back filming episodes by the end of May or middle of June.

Adventures in Underwater Florida

Well, we went to Pensacola but each charter we booked on canceled because of weather. We booked three times, however the 3rd time the shop forgot thay had a morning charter and never told us the time changed to an afternoon charter. Long story short, don't use Bay Breeze Aquatics and Dive Center.

After spending three days and two nights in Pensacola we headed back home. We'll try scheduling again, now I know why shows cost so much to produce.

I changed sponsorship in Panama City from Panama City Dive Charters to Dive Locker. We're also adding sponsorship in Destin with Scuba Tech (Scuba Tech - Destin Florida - scuba & snorkel dive shop)

This past Sunday we went out with Dive Locker on the Fintastic and captured some great video while having a great time. We visited the Strength and Bridge Span 12. I'm starting to work on editing all the video I should have something together in the next week or so.

I'll be back in PC this weekend filming another couple episodes. From what I've been told by Dive Locker we'll be going out on the Narcosis and visiting some combination of the following Black Bart, JF Hover Craft and Bridge Span 14.
