Oh the Horror,

My dive charter this evening out the the General Butler was canceled. I guess there was only two of us signed up for it as they had a full boat yesterday. How do you more experienced divers handle this sort of disappointment? I was going to insta-buddy so I had no one lined up to dive with this afternoon. Called numbers on LDS "buddy board" but everyone is either already diving or no contact. The gear is rigged and bagged and WAY to dry! With not nearly enough experience to dive solo, I guess its time to start my "extended" SI and hit the waterfront bar for sun set. THIS SUCKS..................

cheers,

BTD

It's tough when you're all revved up with no place to go. Maybe you can get out this weekend?

It could be a lot worse. You could've booked a trip to the Flower Gardens and bought airline tix. Flown down to Houston and had the trip canceled. Just be glad it was local and you'll get another chance to dive there.

PS:Nice sunset.

I'd be really upset if I got landlocked in Houston because my charter got cancelled. Did you plan on meeting an instabuddy on the boat or were you going with a group?
