DevilDiver, that photo is hilarious. I've forgotten my fins (but remembered before entry). One of the last things we do before GS is look down to see that it's clear. How did this guy miss this? I mean, one on and one off? How?

Back to the pool for you, son.

I feel a little foolish because I swim upside down, and do barrel roles and turn in circles underwater. Hey, I like to play and it's a really great way to check your buoyancy.

Heh, I saw a guy take his reg out and shove his face in the sand while shaking his head back and forth. He said later it was his dental program...

They had one of the bigger classes out that weekend (25-30 people). What is really funny I don't believe this was one of the students.....

I've rolled over a time or two myself, but usually to practice bubble rings or something like that.

Reason #239 not to use a snorkel...

Happens to me too. Fortunately, I've got a dry top, so I didn't get a mouthfull. I've done a GS without my reg too, not as bad as I thought it would be.

You know what they call a diver without fins?

An anchor.

Speaking of anchors, my buddy tried to unhook the anchor with divers still on the wreck, WTF!? It was 125 ft and I think he was narced a bit.

I sometimes dive with a guy who dives a double hose (and no BC) who does barrel rolls all the time. He says it helps clear the exhaust on the reg.

I was diving with a guy who wanted to do a boyancy check before we left the shallow water...He put his snokel in to conserve air and went under. I stood next to him and waited till he shot back up choking on water. After regaining his ability to speak his first words were "Stupid Snorkel!" I still tease him about it.
