Question dive log book

Hello I was wondering in my log book do I start at dive one after my training dives? I have 5 logged as training dives before I recieved certification. I have since then done another 2 dives certified and I am not sure if I should log them starting at 1 or if I should continue with 6?

I did... you did not? what agency? I am trying to figure out how to start using printed copies, I have horrible handwriting skills due to wrist surgery.

wow you are aggressive. I did too, but felt a little weird as the DM was quite a bit younger to me and I am not that old. Just wanted to see what opinions people had

I think the question is with respect to post-cert dives. Logs for cert dives should be signed by instructor, at least for PADI, I assume for other agencies also. Having logs signed by DM on post-cert dives is optional.

I've only got 7 post-cert dives, but didn't get any signatures from DM. Some charters have stickers or stamps, but I didn't get those either.

Depends on the dive as far as signing goes. Like was said above, all training dives are signed. Certain memorable dives I had signed, but my logbook is mainly for reference back to the online log from the downloads back from my computer and when creating my trip reports.

Yes; cert dives can be logged.
If/when you take additional classes such as AOW, & Rescue, those certification dives will be counted as logable dives as well.
