I am getting my aow this weekend

Hello I wanted to share that I am going to be doing my aow this weekend I am so excited. Found a great instructor with ssi. We will be doing our dives at the Blue Grotto dive park. Got a good price on the class and the dives are only 40 to get into the park. Yippy

Good on you. AOW is not really stressful. It's a bunch of fun dives.
Question: is that $40 per day for entry, or for the weekend?

Good luck and enjoy. I had a great time when I got my AOW. Learned a litle bit more and refreshed knowledge from OW.

Vercingetorix is right, most aow courses are expanding your horizons as a diver. Not nearly as much technical and physics as ow. Just go have fun and at some moment it will hit you... "this isn't hard, I'm having fun... underwater"!

Hi, I just finished mine up last weekend, all of my dives were 100-120 feet way the heck out in the ocean! It was great, I polished up my OW skills, and I learned some new things.

I did Nav, Deep, Wreck, Buoyancy, and Multi-level

I wanted to do Night, but we were 2 hours off shore during the day, so that wasn't going to work.

We are doing the night, navigation, and deep as the mandatory classes. I am not sure what other specialties we will be doing.

The 40 a day is for the entry fee for the day and we will be doing all our dives on that day. Night/low viz, deep, and navigation.

You're doing 6 dives in one day?

My NAUI AOW had 6 dives over two days:
Day 1 - 1) nav, 2) search & recovery, 3) wreck (non-pen), 4)night
Day 2 - 5) deep, 6)scooter

I hope they do your Deep dive first, then.
