I hate it when that happens.

We flew in to Miami from Jamaica yesterday afternoon, a few hours ahead of the storm. Got out and on our way just in time to land in Atlanta last night. Looks like Florida got pounded after we left.

My question: how soon after a CAT 1 Hurricane/Tropical Storm passes would the diving be back to normal (Visibility/Surge/Chop etc) ? I'm an 8-10 hr drive from the keys and I don't want to waste the gas if the diving is going to suck......but I am Jonesing to get wet. I've been looking forward to hitting some wrecks this trip.
Looking at the predictions now, couple-3 days
Thanks - I think I'll head down Thursday - Dive Friday evening
