Smile The GMS CompuDude We Never Knew

I'll never view view our own GMS CompuDude the same again...

For those of you who view our lad as serious and no-nonsense, he has a bit of fantasy spark. Check out his site. Busier than a one-legged man stomping-out fires in a dynamite factory.

I share the following from his web-site (About Kalani). A total surprise to me.

Check-out his photos at Renaissance Faire and Star Trek: The Next Generation

//NOTE: that is a REAL uniform from ST:TNG, not a cheap knock-off

I got new respect.

I'm going to take a total stab in the dark and also guess that GMS played Dungeons & Dragons.

Lord knows I sure did... fantasizing about adventure really whet my appetite for the real thing, and I'm often blown away by all the useful stuff I learned from playing that game.

Totally, like that one time we were at that bank and some guy tried to rob it? Before I could even duck for cover, you pulled out that +4 helm of charisma and totally charmed him out of hurting one with your amulet of the scythe. That was wicked.

Bri, we're talking about D&D, not Grand Theft Auto.

Oh, that old thing? It's just for show... I'm that charming naturally. It's a little skill I picked up in the High School AV club.

Seriously though, When I said "the useful things I learned", I was thinking more about things like mathematical probability, survival skills, medieval history, creative problem solving, improved vocabulary, mythology, storytelling, etc.

I had some, but I traded it to some bikers at a Dead show in Las Vegas back in the early '90s. I've worn many hats... not all of them pointy.

Speaking of pointy, enough about me... how about those Spock ears CompuDude?
