I heard whales!

Had a nice after work boat dive (OK I cheated a bit and told the boss I was leaving early for some physical therapy). Did a deep dive and a dusk dive with some Advanced Open Water students. When I held still, I could hear whales singing off in the distance both dives.... Life is good, sometimes.

Ok now! As a physical therapist, when I hear people are cutting out on therapy I get so.....whales did you say? WHales?!.......mad that my patients don't call and ask me to go along on the dive. I could then make up the excuse to my boss....umm...yeah...we're just gonna do some...therapy in one of the patient's real-life settings

We dive in Maui every year at Christmas and absolutely LOVE hearing the whale song on almost every dive. Sometimes they are so close and loud that you can feel the song vibrating through your chest. It is an amazing feeling to hear them sing.

Last time I was diving in Hawaii I could hear the dolphins chattering under water. That was pretty cool, but I would love to hear or see a whale while diving

Yup. Must be very cool.

I have to get out to the wrong coast again and dive. (There aren't any sticks in the Pacific or China Sea, are there?)

Very cool. We saw a few of them while topside on the boat in Turks and Caicos, but they were no where to be found or heard once we were in the water. I love the dolphin chatter, have heard that before.

Last year, someone saw a whale shark in Turks and Caicos. They shot video and that was one amazing animal.
