I'm not sure how sharks think, but; I would think he looks more like an EASY to get "Bait Ball" than having to herd all the little ones.
I liked watching the birds under water more than anything else in the video. Cool!

On the surface, divers look like tasty seals. beneath the waves, I understand sharks can't quite determine what the h*ll that thing with a tube on his back is.

Also, note that there is a videographer filming this as well. So two people experienced this.

The sharks are what make that dive fun.

I was in the middle of the bait on the wreck of the Shurz of the NC coast while some sandies (sand tiger sharks) we're going at it. The sharks stayed clear of me- they're not dumb- Here's a (bad) picture from that day, but on the Spar instead. The sharks were very active.
