Critters I really want to see......

I would love to see Nautilus (?? Nautili, Nautiluses ??)

Narwhal would also be really cool (pun somewhat intended).

What's on your wish list

I hope I never run out of things I want to see. Right now the top two on my list are Mola Molas and hairy octopus.

I've seen nautilus, dolphins while underwater, cuttlefish, seahorses, squid and mola mola, along with mantas and whale sharks. On my still-to-see list are things like a weedy sea dragon, a mimic octopus, a blue-ring octopus, and a rhinopias. But at the very top of the list, I'd love, love, love to see one of those psychedelic frogfish!

It's a trade-off

What kind of trade-off, you might ask?
Well, you get to live in Pennsylvania,
while I'm stuck living in steamy, marine critter-filled Southeast Asia

FWIW, I'm also disappointed that those cool weedy sea dragons live only in the frigid waters of southern Oz. I tried to get in that water once.... brrr.... only made it in up to my knees. One of these days I'll try again, in a drysuit!

A sea dragon!! They had an exhibit with them at the Baltimore Aquarium a few years back, and I couldn't walk away. They are just fascinating to see!

Also on the list: whale shark, dolphins (in the wild, done the captive thing), great white (from inside a cage of course!), cuttlefish, manta, and more than a two second glimpse of an eagle ray! Been to T&C and Roatan, and still didn't get to dive with an eagle ray yet. Maybe this year in Little Cayman...
