This was out in the sand, east of the MG111 wreck, about 75 FSW. I'm guessing the bigger of the two was about a 6+ footer. I always get a little nervous when I get too close to their tails....I've seen what they can do with them!

We just did that dive over Labor Day!!

Please do tell what those tails can do. We had a bunch of ding a lings from our charter chasing them and making them bark. One was bold enough to touch a tail. Would like to know what kind of damage I can expect to watch. LOL

OK, on one of our dives I came across this huge Goliath hanging under a reef ledge, motionless. I slowly moved in for a closer look, I was about 7 o'clock behind him, and estimating 6 to 8 feet away. I was just checking him out, and lost in the awe, when in a split second, he turned left and darted away. He moved so fast (you wouldn't think a huge fish could move that quickly), and was gone in an instant. The wake tossed me backward like a rag doll. It took me a second to regain my composure, as it was almost like getting hit by a solid object. So yeah, I'm keeping my distance from their tails from now on. They can move a tremendous amount of water!

Now, if you mean't "Tales"...........I'll see what I can come up with.
