A friend of mine proposed to his girlfriend while on vacation...
He suggested a nice walk along the beach in the moonlight-very romantic.
Moon was out, beautiful night and he stops by some rocks to sit and take off his sandals. He calls the girlfriend over because he "found" something.
When she arrives, she finds a beautiful diamond ring glinting among the rocks in the moonlight.
Very romantic.
What ever you decide to do, she will love it! Girls go nuts for this kind of thing.

What is wrong with you people?
Over 20 posts to this thread and nobody has tried to talk this poor guy off the ledge.
I will be married 20 years this Christmas and in the words of a recent dive buddy "the best 30 years of our lives...right honey"

Think long and hard - she already likes the water. Do you want to pay for her dive gear?

Besides, if you do something like you are talking about it sets the bar pretty high. What are you going to do for the anniversary of your 7th date?

Oh PLEASE. You are the luckiest guy on the planet and you know it. To the OP, run, don't walk, and throw yourself over the ledge. You clearly have found your other half if you are already thinking so hard about the proposal.

Packrman does make a good point about the dive gear though, lol.

Ok so long story short....She said YES!!!

Unfortunatly the underwater thing didnt go as planned so it was over a nice lovely dinner before we left.
I was pretty well sick for about 5 days before getting on the plane so scuba didnt look like it was gonna be in the books for me that week anyway.
But i did manage to get 11 dives in with her including some cenote dives and a night dive

pics to come once ive gone through and edited them
