School here starts early August. So that means the wife has to at the school a week before it starts and then she has to spend a week at conferences.

Exactly! I'm sure Lulu won't mind carrying my tanks, what with my bad back and all.

Why yes indeedy we will need cabana boys/dive gear sherpas. I require mine to be under 25 years of age. How about you J? I'm pretty sure that mm2002 and SL might not make that cut

psst...j...what about the keys, how is the diving there? speak up local experts. or how about somewhere way the heck south of FL, it will be a little chilly in january won't it?

Under 25??? Yeah, I definitely don't make that cut. That's why I was really hoping you would carry my tanks for me.

"Way the heck south of Florida"??? Hon, if you go any farther south you'll be in Cuba!

No, honestly, the diving only gets worse the farther south you go. Jupiter to Lauderdale is the best, but Lauderdale is even a bit to far south for the really good stuff. How about a Boynton dive?

mm2002, I only carry Chicken's tanks.

As for south of FL, that was my point...on to warmer climes...I'm a www, hate being cold. My first dive this season in May I was miserably cold.

Well J, maybe we should crash Jupiter instead? I understand there is a well decorated man cave and a snack infested sofa there for us. (And also a nice clean man free hotel somewhere I am sure.)

The coldest I've seen the waters in the gulf stream off Jupiter/West Palm was last February. It was a bone chilling 75 F. That's about as cold as it gets!

Where do you plan on diving. (and dates. confess I have not read the entire thread.)

I'm no "cabana boy". I could probably hook you up though.
