Where do you plan on diving. (and dates. confess I have not read the entire thread.)

I'm no "cabana boy". I could probably hook you up though.
Do you mean that you won't schlep our tanks and bring us drinks...

I'll bring drinks. Not a problem.

When do you plan the festivities?

i guess we're looking at last week in jan, depending on lulu's"condition"-i've been strictly a ft laud girl(due to proximity of a/p= no need for rental car & my friend is the msdt at the DO i use & i like the assortment of not too deep wrecks) but open to suggestion(that doesn't sound right) on other venue-don't do fresh water and only boat dives

I guess that's a no on the tank schlepping then? J, we will be needing the cabana boys. I don't think I will be in tank schlepping form by then.

Do you prefer like 18 to 20 year old surfers, or young cops and fire fighters who, well, have credit?

am not a child molester, cops usually wound a bit too tightly as fire fighters it is, especially if they look like the ones in that calender-sorry lu, but southern belles have a" condition" according to my nana who was from from asheville, instead of talking about medical stuff

I can't pick them based on job description SL. Just young, smart, fun, high test, and happy. And what is this credit of which you speak?

Ah, you misunderstood me J. I was not needing to have "that" mentioned at all, just didn't want anyone to think that the "condition" which causes many women not to dive is the "condition" that I am IN. I can guarantee that it is not.

My wife is a teacher and my kid is in school, so low season is out. Beside from everything I have heard there are not many places for a Jr Open water diver to dive in Grand Cayman.
While I still think Bonaire is your best option, I took my 15yr.-old OW/EAN diver to Cayman (Cobalt Coast/DiveTech) and it was fine. There were a couple of younger Jr. OW divers there and I think they (parents) limited them to the top of the reef and the very top of the wall, but I don't think it was a big issue. You might want to call DiveTech to verify and get their perspective.

Our son had lots of boat diving deeper water experience, so it wasn't an issue.

How old are the kids?

Cozumel is mostly wall diving, as well. The Bahamas or the USVI might hold some good options. The Keys are GREAT for young ones and there are lots of shallow dives to do.
