You definately don't want to dive if you have sinus problem. I made the mistake of trying to finish my final pool session with an ear infection. I made it thru but ended up having to make my up my ocean dives. Wanted to make sure my ear got better.

Arrow ACV

Gargle and drink 1/2 oz of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed into about 4 oz of water about 3 times a day. Should notice relief in 3-4 hours. Worked wonders for me after weeks of different antibiotics did nothing.

The first time is rough, but it gets easier. I am a sceptical kinda guy, but after weeks of pain and rounds of antibiotics, I tried this and it worked fantasticly. Why not give it a try??

Sinuses.
I had a nasty sinus infection flare up after 7 days diving in Jamaica. I was given antibiotics there and 3 more rounds when i got to my crappy ENT here in Seattle. Weeks of intense pain. I was sitting on the couch in pain and thought I would try to find something to help on the internet, and found ACV. Tried it and went out partying just hours later.
Made all the difference in the world and in very short order. I don't know why it is I get so much flack for recommending it. I don't profit from it, it was just a quick, easy, cheap instant cure for my sinus infection.

I'm a firm believer in the Netty Pot! Works wonders for sinus infection. I spoke with my ENT Dr., who also dives, and in the past he has recommended 12 hour Afrin nasal spray. Tilt your head back and drop it in, then clear your ears with it still in your sinuses. I've used this method in an "emergency" and can't remember my sinusus ever being clearer! Hey, I know I'll catch flack because the book says "do not do this" but it works...Fire away mateys!

I just tried the ACV and that was hard to handle! I managed to do it though.
The doctor also gave me a sample of Nasacort nasal spray but it doesn't seem to do a whole lot.
If the ACV doesn't do the trick then I will have to hunt down a netti pot and give that a try.
I might just be wasting my time considering that Ida is going to blow through the day before I supposed to be leaving.

Yup, Netty Pot 2-3 times a day. It's worked for me.

Hope it works and Ida misses your spot.
