the boats i've been on give ya a time limit... usually 1 hour (most i've gone with air left was a surprising 56 minutes and i had 1100psi left, i though there was something wrong with me, and no i was not holding my breath)

but within and hour you are to be at the boat waiting to climb back aboard.

A lot of boats out here will ask that you be back on the boat within an hour and a half. Either way, all they can do is wait or spear me from the surface .

Seriously, I think it's important that everyone follow the guidelines the DMs lay out. It makes their difficult jobs a lot easier. At the same time, first or last in the water, you should be given time to complete the dive within the parameters that are laid out.

I guess one that hasn't been covered is try and use just one juice/water cup so you don't run through all 30 cups before the first dive.

It's pretty simple. Do what you can to stay out of my way, and I'll do what I can to stay out of your's.

It is a little off topic. But, since people have brought up the gear storage issue (No Large Wheeled Bags), I have found that a milk crate works best for under the bench storage. It keeps your stuff from washing all over the deck on a rough day. It is roughly 14 inches wide, so it is easy to not overflow into someone elses space. When I go out on a dive boat, everything fits into the crate except my Fins, BC, and Tanks. If you and your partner both use crates then it is easy to stack your fins on thier sides between the 2 crates.

Oh yea, this thread is about pet peves:
If you are a spitter, DO NOT RINSE YOUR MASK IN THE BUCKET!

OK. My rant is over.
I knew you looked familiar.

Dude - You a big bagger?

Did you dive the Mighty O yet?

I'm a big boy with big toys!

Not yet, check the calendar for Oct 6th.

I do need to find a smaller bag, now that I have my BP/W. Somewhat of an over kill.

If I had doubles and a scooter, I would!

Uhm, I do have friends with scooters, a lot of scooters and I'm sure I could get doubles....

I'll get back to you on that.
