whats the best travel gear

I'm looking into buying a bc and reg setup. the type of diving I do is warm water and I only get to dive once a year on vacation.

what is the best and most lightweight BC? and what doyou recomend as a regulator setup. I'm looking for best performance and lightweight as well as ease of travel. thanks for your help.

please link to photos... always appreciated. thanks

My first reg. was a Mares proton V16 Metal. It's a very good reg., breath very well and because the second stage is metal you will never get "dry mouth" .
It is also a very compact reg.

I don't know about "best" but you might look at Zeagle, either the Stiletto or the Escape. Both are lightweight single tank travel BC's.

Any of the titanium regulators - Atomic, Scubapro, - there's others, are going to be lighter by as much as a couple of pounds. But you'll pay for it, the Atomic T2 or the Scubapro MK25T are around $13-1400 retail.
